The objectives of IODC, that has for the past decade been supported by the Government of Spain, International Development Research Centre (IDRC), World Bank, and Open Data for Development Network (OD4D), are to accelerate collaboration and increase the impact of open data activities globally across sectors such as agriculture, health, education and gender mainstreaming.
Held on the theme “Bridging Data Communities”, the 6th IODC is expected to bring more than 3000 participants from more than 100 countries to Nairobi.
